Neeyamo launches “Genesis”, aims to build an industry-academia connect
Neeyamo, a leading Global Payroll and EOR solution provider, has launched an exclusive program “Genesis” for placement committees. Aiming to create more job opportunities, the company has established this program and their mission is to build a long-term relationship with the placement committee, conduct periodic activities and events in which students can learn and participate, and make the recruitment process as simple and seamless for the placement committee and students as possible.
Genesis will also include partnering with educational bodies to create customized collaboration programs such as the student ambassador program and periodic newsletters to establish strong communication channels. The program will plan regular engagement programs and events such as Talanton, guest lectures, placement connect, fresher's meet, and so on to create a stronger connection with the students.
The phase 1 of the program was successfully completed in Madurai and Nagpur. Genesis was hosted with universities in Madurai such as Alagappa Chettiar College of Engineering and Technology, Kalasalingam Academy of Research and Education, National Engineering college and Thiagarajar School of Management. Likewise, in Nagpur, universities such as Ambedkar College, Raisoni Group of Institutions and Cummins College of Engineering For Women participated.
In the second phase, Neeyamo saw active engagement from all top colleges in Pune, including Symbiosis Skill & Professional University, Dr.DY. Patil Educational Complex, Amity Global Business School , Indira Institute of Management. In Chennai, tier-I institutes such as SRM Group of Institutions, Women’s Christian College, St Joseph's College of Engineering, Saveetha University, SSN School of Management, and Sathyabama University, amongst others, participated in the program and event.
Rupinder Kaur, Head of HR and Talent Acquisition, Neeyamo, said, “After the pandemic, the need for a connect between the educational bodies and industries increased significantly. While universities can teach in abundance theoretically, industry exposure through programs such as Talanton, lectures, and even networking events are beneficial for students. We, at Neeyamo, would like to bridge the gap between industry and academia and bring out a program that is useful for students; and that is what Genesis stands for.”
Formed in 2009, Neeyamo presently has over 3,000+ employees worldwide. The company recently launched their All-women global delivery center in Nagpur. Through such initiatives, Neeyamo is working towards being inclusive and taking job opportunities for all cities and towns.
