HP names Jim Merritt as Sr. VP & GM of Enterprise Sales in Asia-Pacific
HP has appointed Jim Merritt as Senior Vice President and General Manager of Enterprise Servers, Storage and Networking (ESSN) Sales in Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ).
He will report to Dave Donatelli, Executive Vice President and General Manager of ESSN and Technology Services. Donatelli said, "With APJ organizations increasingly leading the way to cloud computing and other service-driven IT models, they need an innovative and experienced technology partner to help them drive their businesses forward. James brings an exceptional talent for understanding customers' needs, particularly as they apply in the dynamic APJ marketplace."

McAfee appoints Jagdish Mahapatra as MD- India and SAARC
McAfee has appointed Jagdish Mahapatra as the Managing Director- India and SAARC, McAfee. Based in Mumbai, Jagdish will report to Wahab Yusoff, Vice President South Asia and will spearhead the company's growth in the subcontinent. In this role, his key responsibilities include driving enterprise and consumer driven product revenues, strengthening the customer base across verticals and leading channel partner and alliance engagements.

Blue Coat appoints new MD for India
Blue Coat Systems has appointed Ambarish Deshpande as Managing Director of India, responsible for sales, alliance strategies and growth of the Indian market. Deshpande will report to Steve Rowland, Vice President of Sales for Blue Coat in Asia Pacific.
Deshpande said, "Blue Coat is uniquely positioned with its forward-thinking solutions and technology that help enterprises safely and effectively leverage the transformational forces of the Web and Cloud for their networks. Vodafone India appoints Analjit Singh as Chairman
Vodafone has appointed Analjit Singh as non-executive Chairman of Vodafone India. Vittorio Colao, Chief Executive, Vodafone Group, said "Analjit has been a longstanding, reliable and trustworthy partner in India."
Nick Read, CEO, Vodafone's Africa, Middle East and Asia Pacific region, said, "I am delighted to announce Analjit's appointment as Chairman of Vodafone's operations in India. Xerox appoints Rajat Jain as Managing Director for India Business
Rajat Jain has been named MD for Xerox India Limited, the local operating company of Xerox Corporation. Rajat was previously at the helm of both Mobile2win India. He assumes his Xerox role on 20 February. "With his deep knowledge of the local marketplace and the channel business model, Rajat will be able to build on Xerox's strong leadership position in both technology and services. His aim will be to ensure more and more Indian companies can benefit from Xerox’s offers, which make it easier for them to get work done," said Hervé Tessler, President, Xerox Corporation's Developing Markets Operations, which includes India.
Rajat will be responsible for leading Xerox India's strategy implementation and business operations, including sales of products and services, marketing, brand recognition, and customer service operations for Xerox India Ltd. To deliver against these growth objectives, Rajat will oversee the development of Xerox India's talent pool.

Rajat Sahu joins Trend Micro
Trend Micro has appointed Rajat Sahu as Product Marketing manager for India and SAARC.
He will be responsible in this role to spearhead the branding and marketing for Titanium range of consumer products (Titanium Maximum Security, Titanium Maximum Mobile Security) for consumer and channels in India and SAARC.
