After setting up the base all these years in the world markets vis-a-vis the competitions, MicroWorld has been experiencing year-on-year growth. Over the past few years, MicroWorld has decided to set up operations in the Indian region. And that was the reason why MicroWorld has now become quite aggressive as far as the Indian market is concerned to tap the vast potential for this specific category of security in the IT industry in India.
Gupta says, “The reason why MicroWorld is aggressively trying to tap the tremendous potential in the Indian market is basically the vast growth of PC market and the increase in the net connectivity with the broadband connectivity available in India which has increased the security threat more and more in the Indian continent plus the awareness among the Indians as they know very well that how important it is to secure systems network to have a smooth functioning.”
He adds, “To increase its presence in the Indian subcontinent, MicroWorld has appointed regional level distributors in the North, South, East, and West regions. These regional distributors will be product-specific so that the dealers and resellers in a particular region can operate with a standard MOP and help generate good revenues for them. MicroWorld provides a complete security to its products – be it Antivirus, Antispam, Phishing, Spaming, various Internet threats which an end-user or an enterprise faces today. Also, MicroWorld comes with a product basket which gives a complete solution to protect the large enterprises, corporates, SMBs, etc. So, with MicroWorld Solutions, the partners, SIs, etc. can offer the best solutions for their Windows and Linux-based OS systems which they would be catering to.”

Portfolio Security Solution
MicroWorld mainly provides Content Security. It can be in the form of e-mails, webpages and various other things. The company also provides Antivirus, AntiSpams, AntiPhishing, AntiData theft plus a software FireWall. The products offered by MicroWorld help the System Administrator to monitor and control their large network by managing with bandwith.
Gupta adds, “As some e-mails blasts from a client on the network that chokes the bandwidth of the other user, MicroWorld has the tool to control these unauthorized blast and increases the frequency of network for other clients, which may stop or disrupt the data flow of other clients in the network.”
Product Line-up of MicroWorld
MicroWorld, on the whole, has 64 products under eScan and mail scan. Under the mail scan, there are 32 flavours both on Windows and Linux platforms. Whichever mail server is developed across the world, there are mail scan solutions for each of these mail servers. Software FireWall eConceal helps the system admin for bandwidth management, traffic control, port blocking, parental control plus Intrusion Detection and prevention.

As per Gupta, MicroWorld has become successful over the years through word-of-mouth publicity about the company’s solutions and recommendations with satisfaction from various clients and large corporate customers. Across the countries, the company is planning to come to the forefront as a company providing solutions with all kinds of security threat solutions.
Support Structure for Customers and Partners
The foremost thing is the Training Session held every month in the offices of MicroWord for the engineers of the partners to equip them technically to handle the first level support. And, in case they are unable to handle the first level support, remote connections are established to resolve the problem. Or else, MicroWorld’s engineers are sent with partners to resolve their problems.
