Microsoft Ignite 2023: Microsoft announces copilot experience for its enterprise customers
On Wednesday, Satya Nadella opened Microsoft Ignite with a keynote framing digital imperatives that span the Microsoft Cloud. At Microsoft Ignite, Microsoft is introducing about 100 new services and updates.

Cloud Infrastructure
Microsoft is reimagining cloud infrastructure across every layer of hardware and software with new, custom silicon. Alongside offerings from an ecosystem of silicon partners, including AMD, Intel, and NVIDIA, Microsoft Azure Maia and Microsoft Azure Cobalt give customers more choice in price and performance to meet their needs for cloud and AI workloads.
Extending Microsoft Copilot
Microsoft Copilot Studio is a new end-to-end conversational AI platform that allows organizations to build their own copilots from scratch or adapt out-of-the-box copilots with their own data, logic, and actions relevant to their business needs.
Data and AI
With over 25,000 customers – including Ernst & Young, Milliman, and Zeiss – Microsoft Fabric reshapes how teams work with data by bringing everyone together on a single platform built for the era of AI.
Unlocking Value for Developers
With Model-as-a-Service, a new feature in the model catalog Microsoft announced at Microsoft Build, pro developers will be able to easily integrate the latest AI models, such as Llama 2 from Meta and upcoming premium models from Mistral, and Jais from G42, as API endpoints to their applications.
Security in the Era of AI
Microsoft is combining the power of leading solutions in SIEM, XDR and generative AI for security into the first unified security operations platform. We are also adding new embedded experiences of Security Copilot across the Microsoft Security portfolio.
Copilot has been available for Microsoft 365 enterprise users since November, and the same is now made available for the general public. Microsoft has also rebranded Bing Chat to Copilot and Bing Chat Enterprise to Copilot Pro. Similarly, the company is even upgrading Microsoft Sales Copilot to Copiot for Sales.
