Michael Clarke divorces his wife after 7-years of marriage
The former Australian captain, Michael Clarke got married to Kyly back in 2012. But now in 2020, more than seven years later, the duo has decided to take the tough call and have come to terms on getting separated mutually. In fact, it was revealed that Clarke had moved out a few months back and they have been living separately. But that hadn’t been made public.
The duo was together during their daughter Kelsey Lee’s birthday celebrations and Kyly also posted pictures as their daughter celebrated her fourth birthday. Michael Clarke and his wife were seen together during Kyly’s parents’ 50th-anniversary celebrations as well. The couple has issued a joint statement to The Australian and explained that they’ve taken the difficult decision of parting ways as a couple on good terms.
Michael Clarke has moved to the $8million house on Bondi’s beachfront. Both of them will co-parent their only daughter. Meanwhile, the couple have also come to terms on the financial side of it and the divorce cost them AU$40 million (₹192 crore).
