Sudhir Singh of Marg ERP says, “Marg ERP provides highly trade-specific inventory and accounting solutions for the businessman instead of the accountant. Hence, our students finish their courses knowing everything they need to know to successfully run a business. There is a structural anomaly in our existing education model that does not place enough emphasis on vocational skills resulting in a gap between industry and unemployed youth. Many small businesses are restricted in capacity expansion by this gap. Because our major goal is to enhance ease of business in India, we will do everything we can to prepare our learners to become successful partners of the nation’s vibrant workforce.”
A 2016 study by ASSOCHAM revealed that 93% of its business graduates are not employable because of a lack of requisite skills needed to operate a business. Marg is an official member of the government’s Skill India and Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikash Yojana initiatives.
Marg is also planning to raise Rs.100 crore via equity dilution. The funds will be used mainly for expansion and infrastructure development.
