Manisha Gupta to head marketing for Uber India
Manisha Lath Gupta appointed as the Head of Marketing for India, whereas Sanjay Gupta, who heads the current position as the marketing head will move to Uber US and Canada in a new role. This announcement has come as Uber had completed over 1 billion trips in India and South Asia region in July 2018, the company plans to continue driving growth by offering more modes and entering more cities this year under the strategic stewardship of a stronger and bigger India leadership team.
Manisha Lath Gupta will oversee marketing initiatives for Rides and Eats Business for India South Asia.She comes with over 20 years of experience across consumer goods, banking, e-commerce and fintech. Over the year, she has conceptualized and executed various key brand campaigns, driven digital performance and has ran a successful start-up.
Manisha will take over from Sanjay Gupta, who will soon move to Uber US & Canada in a new role.

Manisha started her career with Unilever in India, share has also worked with various organisations including Colgate Palmolive and Axis Bank, as the EVP & Chief Marketing Officer.
