LogixGRID, a platform for managing logistics, offers infrastructure required by a logistic company to manage their logistic business efficiently. Gurucharan Singh, Director, LogixGRID describes it as a technological company, designed to develop solutions around logistics for companies across the globe.
Talking about the solutions offered by the company Gurucharan Singh comments, “We offer logistics management systems used by third party logistics companies and also other companies who like to manage their logistics business. We offer transport management systems for manufacturers. We offer services to the company which are primarily a third party logistics company, the e-commerce logistics, the companies who are offering warehousing services and also to the companies that are into the last mile delivery operations.”
He also adds, “Our systems are designed to run on Amazon cloud, so we are using a lot of Amazon's inbuilt securities. Along with it we do annual security audit of our systems by the third party audit companies.”
Along with the primary development office in Gurgaon and the marketing office in Toronto LogixGRID has more over 200 customers in India. In all the 12 countries where the company operates, it has been accepted well by the customers. They are delighted to have very high acceptance markets in India and across the globe.
According to Gurucharan,” Down the line logistic is expending a lot. International e-commerce logistics is coming up a bit, along with artificial intelligence, which has opened up a new market in the logistics domain. We see a growth of around 200 plus percentage on a yearly basis and huge amount of growth that we are seeing is coming from Africa continent, where we already have a good presence. Africa is growing in the logistic and e-commerce space so we are seeing a good amount of progress and growth coming from that market.”
With 25 developers into different domains, the company is working on mobility from backend developments to frontend. Gurucharan remarks, “There are multiple software or multiple hardware that have been used to do the tracking. There are GPS devices, IoT devices which provide the tracking. A multiple of technologies and hardware we use to get it. The only key aspect is how to get all this tracking linked to a single shipment or a single tracking ID that you want to track.”
