LinkedIn testing $99 monthly Premium Business Page for SMEs
For small to medium-sized organisations, LinkedIn, the professional networking platform, is piloting a new service that offers AI-powered content production for as much as $99 (Rs 7,400) each month. The Premium Business Page seeks to improve profiles and increase the amount of followers. This action is consistent with LinkedIn's plan to broaden its business model in an effort to maximise value.
This move comes amid the changing landscape of other social platforms and search engines. The details about the new Premium Business Page were first shared by LinkedIn six days ago.
Suzi Owens, Senior Director of Communications at LinkedIn, confirmed the new service. She stated, "We're always exploring new ways to enhance our customers' experience and assist them in achieving their business goals. Currently, we're testing a new offering with small-to-medium business customers, called Premium Company Page, which is designed to help them attract customers, build credibility, and stand out to their audience."
The charges start at $99.99 per month per page, dropping to $839.88 per page for an annual subscription. This new addition complements LinkedIn's expanding array of premium services, designed for organizations on its platform.
The Premium Business Page subscription will include features, like the ability for administrators to review recent visitors and invite them to follow the page. Administrators can also design "call to action" buttons with contact and website details prominently displayed at the top of the page.
