LG Electronics launches its employee advocacy program MyLG in India
Celebrating its 22 years in India, LG Electronics, a consumer durable major announces two new activities as a part of its employee advocacy programme ‘My LG’. Started by Mr. Ki Wan Kim, Managing Director, LG India, the first Facebook activity called #GetInTheFrame challenged the employees to change their Facebook profile picture using five different #MyLG frames in five days.
This fun--filled activity saw participation from all the top cadre to the ground-level employees. In a period of five days, the collective usage of #MyLG frames, carrying LG products, was over 35,000 times.
Another activity #LGturns22inIndia likewise saw a tremendous participation from the employees with most of them wishing LG a happy birthday on a Facebook event page.

LG understands that employee-friendly policies which nurture mutual cooperation and promote personal goals of the employees, is central to ensuring a lasting association. We wanted to celebrate this 22nd milestone with the people who have been a part this journey. We were glad to see the participation for both the activities from across offices. Looking at this overwhelming response, we are motivated to bring more such fun-filled activities under ‘MyLG’programme," said Sunil Ranjan, Head-HR, LG Electronics India.
