Lenovo has recently concluded a multicity partner meet for industrial clusters in Delhi, Bangalore, Calicut, Dehradun, Hubli, Ranchi, Ludhiana, Behrampure, Burdwan and Guwahati. The objective was to closely connect with SMB Channel partners and reward the top performers.
In India, Lenovo formed the Small and Medium Business (SMB) unit in 2010-11.Today, over a short span of one year, SMB business has achieved a market share of 9.3% in Q3 CY2013 from 6.3% in Q3 CY2012 (as per IDC Asia-Pacific PC shipment Tracker). In sync with the “Unstoppable India” goal, ably supported by Lenovo’s Protect & Attack strategy, the segment is growing from strength to strength with the right product mix to cater to the business challenges of SMB customers.
Ashok Nair, Director – SMB, Lenovo India, stated, “We are pleased with the appreciation and feedback of our partners who were a part of this meet. Such initiatives will go a long way in strengthening our bond across the country, especially in the tier-II and -III cities which have high potential to grow the business.”
The meet saw close-to 2,000 participants and offered an opportunity for Lenovo and its partners to understand how they can contribute towards mutual growth. It also helped Lenovo to gauge the needs and challenges of its partners.
