Lenovo conducts partners meet
For the performance in the Q1 2012-13, Lenovo India conducted a partner meet in the capital. There were total of 12 winners who had been recognised as best performers for selling Lenovo's range of products billed through the two exclusive regional distributors for Delhi.
"It's important to appreciate your partners for their hard work and time invested in taking Lenovo to newer heights. We are trying to regularise this small felicitation get together in the metros and some major cities to begin with. Then we would take it to other cities too," informs Amit Dhar, GM - North,Lenovo India (P) Ltd.
Lenovo India team also used the platform for introducing their new range to the dealers. Two new Laptops referred as "Color Range" were showcased to the dealers. According to Taposh Chatterjee, Director, Peripheral Solutions (P) Ltd, "Lenovo has always been bringing products which the customers want, this new launch will further help us to gain the market share in Laptop business."
Moreover, in a bid to strengthen its retail foothold in India's commercial capital, the company launched 4 new stores in Mumbai and also aims to further ramp up its presence with a total of 25 stores by end of Q2 FY 2012-13 and 35 stores by end of FY 2012-13.
Moreover, Lenovo has exclusively partnered M/s Addict Infotech for the 4 new stores and has future plans to be present in the city's leading malls as well.
Vipin Sharma, Proprietor, Addict Infotech said, "Lenovo has great equity in the Indian PC market and we are proud to partner them to address the burgeoning PC requirements of consumers in Mumbai. Lenovo stores are unique in their design, experience and consultative approach, and we believe that this USP sets them apart from the other players in the market."
