Kareena Kapoor Khan appointed as new brand ambassador for Puma
Success never stops for the smart and well build celebrities like Kareena. German sportswear brand major Puma said it has signed Bollywood actor Kareena Kapoor Khan as its new brand ambassador. With this association, Khan joins the brand’s roster of women personalities such as Sara Ali Khan, MC Mary Kom, and Dutee Chand in India and Adriana Lima, Selena Gomez as well as Cara Delevingne globally who endorse the brand.
Khan will be the face for Puma’s soon-to-be launched Studio Collection – a low-intensity training apparel collection for yoga, barre and pilates workouts. The new partnership is aimed at encouraging more women to lead a fit and healthy lifestyle.
“Kareena personifies our philosophy ‘where the gym meets the runway’. She is not only an inspiration but is also a true embodiment of what it means for women to maintain a healthy lifestyle while donning multiple hats. We are thrilled to have her join the PUMA family. Through this association we aim to ignite a stronger women’s narrative for the brand," said Abhishek Ganguly, general manager, Puma India and Southeast Asia.
The new studio collection will be available from April 2020 on PUMA.com, Puma stores and selected multi-brand retailers. The PUMA Group owns the brands PUMA, Cobra Golf and stichd. The company sells its products in more than 120 countries and employs more than 13,000 people worldwide.
