This FreeBSD-based disaggregated operating system runs on a virtualized Linux environment. This enables enterprises to build on open and programmable data center networks with a consistent OS. Customers can also choose Juniper’s Contrail or Open Contrail controllers for a central point of automation from the data center to the business edge,” states Rakesh.
