Jan Norgaard Lauridsen joins Heidrick & Struggles

Heidrick & Struggles International has announced the joining of Jan Norgaard Lauridsen as the Partner within the Industrial Practice. He will be based out of the Singapore office. According to the firm, with more than 20 years of experience in the shipping and logistics sector, his knowledge and sector experience across various global markets will be a differentiating asset and bring great value for clients.

Our industrial clients within Asia-Pacific and beyond will see immediate value in his deep level of industry knowledge. Lauridsen is highly regarded as one of the leading experts in the shipping and logistics industry. He will be focussed on Asia-Pacific growth and emerging markets,” said Arun Das Mahapatra, Regional Managing Partner of the Industrial Practice in Asia and the Middle East.
 
Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggle, Lauridsen was the Regional MD, Asia-Pacific at TORM. Before that, Lauridsen was in charge of Asia-Pacific as Senior Vice-President with Inchcape Shipping Services. Lauridsen also worked for NOL in various positions, including
serving as MD for APL and APL Logistics in Dubai. Earlier in his career, Lauridsen spent more than 10 years in A.P. Moller Maersk with increasing responsibilities in various shipping and logistics positions and had sailed as a Captain for Maersk Line.
