ITI Limited Celebrates International Women's Day 2021
ITI Limited celebrated International Women’s Day 2021 across manufacturing units and marketing, sales & project offices on March 8, 2021 at ITI Bangalore Plant. The event was also witnessed by other units and offices through video conference.
Shri R M Agarwal, Chairman & Managing Director, ITI Limited, Shri Shashi Prakash Gupta, Director (HR), Shri D. Venkateswarlu, Director (Production), Shri Rajeev Srivastava, Director (Finance), Shri B. Kasiviswanathan, CVO, Smt Swapna Agarwal, President, ITI Women’s Welfare Association and Guest of Honor, Smt Jayasree Murali, Advocate inaugurated the event by lighting the lamp in the presence of senior officers, women employees, representatives of employees’ union and officers’ association.
Speaking on the occasion, Shri R M Agarwal extended his warm greetings to the gathering and said “Women at ITI are contributing immensely for the growth of the company in production area, office at all levels”. He acknowledged and admired the untiring efforts of women at both personal and professional level.
Shri Shashi Prakash Gupta emphasized on the theme and spoke about empowerment of women at ITI. He urged women to take up responsibility, challenging roles and contribute to the growth of the organization.
Speaking on the occasion, Smt Swapna Agarwal said “Women have an important role at home, in office managing personal, professional levels and contributing to society. They have to be leaders and encouraged to take decisions at all levels. They need to be challenging in their professional career”.
On the occasion, Smt Jayasree Murali spoke on IWD theme ‘Choose to Challenge’, equality and women’s rights and contribution to society.
On the occasion, the prize winners of women’s day competitions were felicitated by ITI Management.
