ISODA TechSummit 7 reveals the X Factor

With the theme of “Xcel, Xcellerate, Xceed”, Infotech Software Dealers’ Association (ISODA) successfully concluded its flagship event, TechSummit 7. It was held from 16th to 19th February, 2017 at Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam) and over 100 System Integrators (SIs) and VARs participated in this three-day summit. This summit has been convened keeping Digital Transformation in view.  

It is a unique platform offered by ISODA to help its members to identify the latest and relevant technologies, networking with technology vendors on how to collaborate with them and leverage each other’s core competencies and take it to the next level. Secondly, vendors get the opportunity to meet the owners of the VARs and discuss on new alliances and reinforce the existing partnership.  

The strong foundation of any event of such stature is the agenda and the opportunity for networking. And, TechSummit 7 promises to have strengths in both. The theme of the summit explains, Xcel through strengthening the alliances, Xcellerate yourself for the next level of skillsets and Xceeed not just as an individual but also as an entire team and stakeholder, with the agenda focussed on identifying new opportunities, by a series of specialized sessions and informal as well as formal networking opportunities between members and principals.

In the opening address, Rajiv Mamidanna, Chairman of ISODA TechSummit 7 and also Vice- President, ISODA, and Vipul Dutta, Chairman, ISODA, spoke about the X factor with the examples of Luis Figo, Mickey Mantel, Christiano Ronaldo and M. S. Dhoni, who are considered as the leaders and have leveraged the X factor. Incidentally, at the ISODA Tech Summit 7, the members also wore No. 7 as a dress code.
Rajeev Mamidanna expressed his views, “The need to Xcel in strategies and alliances has to Xcellerate to the next level of skills successfully, and has to Xceed the expectations of teams as entrepreneurs.”
The keynote session on the roadmap ahead was presented by Vipul Shah and K. V. Jagannathan.
A panel discussion on Digital Transformation in India and its impact and opportunities for the Indian IT community also took place.

Alike other years, this time also ISODA gave away Business Excellence Awards in five categories. Enjay IT Solutions from Gujarat won the Business Excellence award, Mumbai-based LDS Infotech won Business Excellence award in Licence Sales, KKM Soft of Chennai bagged Niche Technologies award, Dev Information Technologies, Ahmedabad won Business Transformation award and Secure Network Solutions of Chennai received Business Excellence in Security award.  The awards were selected by the jury members consisting of L. Ashok, CEO, Futurenet Technologies; Alok Gupta of Softmart; and Dhruv Dua, Income Tax Consultant of ISODA.
