Infosys urges staff to return to office
Infosys is encouraging employees to return to work at its Hubballi campus in a bid to encourage hybrid mode, as more companies devise ways to bring people back to office post-pandemic.
Infosys currently has over 3.7 lakh employees globally, with the majority based in India across its development centers and campuses. Infosys is aiming for a majority of its employees to return onsite in the coming months after two years of dispersed remote and hybrid arrangements.
Infosys is enticing employees to return to the office through an array of perks and amenities, after two years of remote and hybrid work models. It has decked out its campuses with expansive food courts, convenience stores, lush greenery, and recreational zones in hopes of drawing employees back onsite.
Infosys executives say the “thoughtfully designed workspaces” and “serene environments” will enable greater collaboration and innovation. The company has also introduced wellness centers at its campuses, replete with gyms, yoga and meditation rooms to help reduce employee stress. Quiet rooms allow uninterrupted focus.
We have created spaces for informal and planned collaboration, as well as areas where employees can rejuvenate their minds with activities such as gardening,” said Richard Lobo, Head HR at Infosys.
