InfoComm International teams with AMX Europe
To provide networked audio-visual systems training to AV professionals, InfoComm International has announced its collaboration with AMX Europe. At least 75 students will be able to take InfoComm’s highly regarded Networked AV Systems class at a discounted rate in Belgium, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Sweden and the United Kingdom, dramatically raising the number of trained professionals in the region.
The three-day classes will be offered nine times in AMX Training Centres, and will cost €400/£350+VAT for members, €800/£650+VAT, for non-members.
David Labuskes, CTS, RCDD, Executive Director & CEO, InfoComm International, said, “The AV world has evolved and if you lack knowledge of IT networks you are creating obstacles to your success. AV systems increasingly use enterprise IP networks – the same networks that already carry mission-critical voice, data and other information. These networks were never designed with real-time delivery of audio-visual content in mind. InfoComm thanks AMX for their strong commitment to this programme and industry quality.”
Because many will need more basic education before endeavouring into Networked AV Systems, InfoComm’s Networking Technology Online class, which conveys foundational knowledge, will be a perquisite for enrollment. AMX is generously covering the cost of this class for all who enroll in the Networked AV Systems sessions at their centres.
