India’s economy was on "a good wicket" during 48 months

Modi governments achievement to people on completion of four years. Governments effort is to ensure that benefits of its initiatives reach the people. Four years ago on May 26, 2014, only one goal was fixed by the Modi govt which was to ensure the country's development. The govt has been working on its 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas' since then and now with four years gone by, the Ministers are taking the message of 'Saaf Niyat, Sahi Vikas' to the people.
By highlighting a number of achievements of the NDA government, Ravi Shankar Prasad, Union Minister for Law and Justice and Electronics and Information Technology said, the country's economy was on "a good wicket" during the last four years. India is becoming a major manufacturing hub of mobile phones with the number of handset factories in the country has gone up to 120.
Secondly, a fast-track Task Force, a body under Ministry of Electronics and IT, has set target to achieve around 500 million mobile phone production in India by 2019, with value estimated to be around $46 billion, the news agency reported. The target is also to create $8 billion component manufacturing as result of growth in mobile phone production and create 1.5 million direct and indirect jobs by 2019. The government is pushing medical electronics and other areas in electronics in a big way, Minister said.
Prasad further added, by marking 48 months success of Modi government, India has got the highest foreign investment Be it IMF, be it World Bank, be it other international think-tank, Moodys, India’s (growth) rate shall be 7.3 per cent to 7.5 per cent. Inflation is under control. It is really remarkable.
