As one of Asia’s largest corporate training Universities, the IGATE Corporate University will focus on building custom training programmes and methodologies in association with the leading global varsities. The University will also have the tutelage of renowned Professors collaborating with the corporate faculty to create a differentiated class of IGATORs who are best placed to address the ever-dynamic business challenges of clients.
Spread across 37 acres of land on the foothills of the picturesque Western Ghats, the facility can accommodate more than 750 trainees simultaneously with residential facilities and world-class co-curricular and extra-curricular amenities such as club house, swimming pools and food courts.
The expansive training facility in Hinjewadi Pune was inaugurated by Harry Kenyon-Slaney, chief executive Energy, Rio Tinto. Rio Tinto is a leading global mining and metals company and one of IGATE’s key clients.
Ashok Vemuri, President & CEO, IGATE, said, “It is a seminal moment for us. People are our biggest assets and we believe in richly investing in them, nurturing them to become the leaders of tomorrow. I foresee the IGATE Corporate University significantly enabling our employees to be best prepared for our journey of growth.”
Apart from state-of-the-art classrooms and innovation labs, the University also has a customer experience centre in the campus allowing the trainees to get a first-hand interaction with the IGATE’s client fraternity. A 14-storeyed development facility, with a capacity of seating 5,000 people, in the same campus, enables the trainees to get rich experience of a technical and development environment.
