IDBI Bank welcomes Vivek Zakarde as General Manager IT and Head of Analytics

Vivek Zakarde has been appointed as the General Manager IT and Head of Analytics, IDBI Bank. He will be playing the role of an Analytical Leader for the entire organization and will be an integral part of the top management team.

Zakarde brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record in the world of data, AI, and data science.

Prior to IDBI Bank, He was associated with IndusInd Bank as Senior Vice President – Analytics. He served various leadership roles in Data Engineering, Data Science, and Business Intelligence at prominent tech companies such as India Infoline Group, Reliance General Insurance, EXL Services, and WNS. He has a global track record, working with clients like British Gas (UK), Ford Motors (US), Suncorp Bank (Australia), and TORM Shipping (Denmark).

Known for his proficiency in big data, AI, and data science, Zakarde has consistently built and led successful data science, data engineering, and BI teams throughout his career. His ability to add value to businesses through data management and strategic alignment has earned him a stellar reputation on the global stage.
