IDA hosts 5th edition of ASES and 10th edition of DIDAC India
India Didactics Association (IDA) has organized 5th edition of the Asian Summit on Education & Skills (ASES), followed by 10th edition of DIDAC India on 3rd October and from 4th to 6th October, 2018, respectively in New Delhi.
The inaugural session was addressed by Manish Sisodia, Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi. Dominic Savage OBE, Director, Education World Forum, and Aditya Gupta, CEO, India Didactics Association, were also present on this occasion.
Both the events, ASES and DIDAC India are partnered by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE), Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), NITI Aayog, AICTE, NCERT and National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) and hosted by the Department of Education, Government of NCT of Delhi.
Manish Sisodia says, “Platforms such as ASES and DIDAC India play an important role to promote peer learning among countries and educational institutions which is critical for adoption best practices in education. There is a great scope of learning from our counterparts such as Thailand, Sri Lanka and Afghanistan in various areas of education and training. Teacher training is one such aspect that is crucial to improve and maintain the quality of our education system especially, the government school system. Technology in education is another area which we need to focus on and internalize."
Aditya Gupta, CEO, India Didactics Association, says, “India has the largest percentage of young people in the world. This essential human resource must be provided with working competencies and skills keeping in mind latest innovation and technological developments in education sector to make them future ready with industrial revolution 4.0. The need of the hour is an exponential change – be it teacher training, assessments or technology adoption to ensure that teaching and learning outcomes are at par with the best global practices."
ASES is the global annual meeting of ministers offering insights from the leading education pioneers, policy-makers and education experts from Asia.
DIDAC India is the annual exhibition and conference and only event in the country for Educational Material, Training & Technology-based solutions for all levels and sectors of the Education aand Training industry.
