IceWarp unveils new cloud setup at Netmagic data center
IceWarp has modeled a multi-million investment for cloud infrastructure at the Netmagic site in Mumbai. This site will be operational for their growing set of customers and can also be opted by existing customers as a near DR site in case of contingencies. With this IceWarp is all geared to upscale their infrastructure and meet the growing number of customers.
Pramod Sharda, CEO of IceWarp India & Middle East quotes, “We have been overwhelmed with the response that the Indian market has given us and thank the community for the acceptance of a new brand so readily. This trust from our customers has given us a reason to upscale our infrastructure. We are glad to say that we are moving closer to our vision of Vision 2020 of meeting our target of 2 million mailboxes in the Indian market."
Email has become a lifeline for any organization today, with large information requirements and aggressive recovery time objectives and companies are more likely to require a Disaster Recovery site. The internal site is typically a second data center and allows a company to recover and resume operations following a disaster at the primary center.
IceWarp provides messaging, voice and collaboration solutions for small, medium and enterprise level businesses with unified communications being its major focus since inception in 2001. With its current plan of expansion, IceWarp has come up with new sites in the Middle East region as well. Furthermore, the new cloud setup will provide a private link to Netmagic Datacenter for its users.
Present across 50 countries, IceWarp has already acquired more than 800 customers in India in very little time. This has added on to the reason that IceWarp is being considered as the only alternative to Exchange, Office 365, GSuite.
