I am fine with the recognition of Serena's husband- Alexis Ohanian
Reddit Co-founder Alexis Ohanian said it's "fine" for him to be only known as tennis player Serena Williams' husband.
Serena Williams and Alexis Ohanian were engaged in 2016, and had been dating (privately) for around 15 months after they met in Rome.
"I'll be a self-made billionaire one day and most people will still know me as Serena's husband (or Olympia's dad) and that's fine by me," the 38-year-old tech entrepreneur tweeted. Alexis and Serena married in 2017 and have a daughter together.
The start-up investor Alexis Ohanian is already famous for co-founding Reddit. And just as famously - or infamously - he and his co-founders sold Reddit 14 years ago for what turned out to be pennies on the dollar compared to its most recent multibillion-dollar valuation.
Ohanian has invested in co-founding Initialized Capital, along with other ventures like Instacart, Opendoor, Zenefits, and Cruise. As pe reports, they range up to $500 million. He also invested $3 million to Kinside (childcare setup) in 2019. This falls under Initialized Capital.
