For Life Mission project of Kerala government which is aimed at providing homes for homeless people of the state HUDCO has allocated Rs 375 crore more and it is the fourth instalment of the committed loan of Rs 4,000 crore. The latest installment will be used to pay beneficiaries who have started construction of house in the second phase of Life Mission. Hudco’s assistance would enable construction of 1.84 lakh houses in the state. The beneficiaries of the project are provided assistance in installment after reviewing the progress of house construction. With the release of the latest installment, Hudco has so far sanctioned Rs 1,500 crore for the project.
