HP ensures to meet the needs of partners of all sizes

ByteScale Technologies was looking at roping in a networking brand in its portfolio and thus chose HP Networking in 2005, which was then offering easily adaptable and affordable 10G solutions. "As our primary focus was on M&E at that time the need for 10G was much earlier than other verticals. Other networking vendors considered 10G a premium product and didn't offer the port density which HP was able to offer at the time," shared Kushal Shah. They are currently certified as an ANS (Advance Networking Specialist) Partner.
Simply Technically Superior
HP Networking provides products which are technically superior in the market. Their ability to offer simplicity in products configurations, extra features such as IPV6, L3 from the day you buy the switch has strengthened their position in the networking market. Life-time warranty on products is also a unique offering from HP. "Since HP products are built on open standards, it offers interoperability between HP's products and other vendors' networking products. After the acquisition of 3COM, HP Networking today has a complete product portfolio to handle any wired or wireless networking, network management, Network security, programmable networks requirement," he added.
Based on his early experience, Kushal shared that during those days it was known as ProCurve and it was not positioned as serious networking solutions by HP's own sales team. "Many times, we used to get into competition with HP's own sales team selling Cisco Gear and when we used to tell customer it is from HP the customer used to get surprised why HP's own team was pushing for Cisco. Nevertheless, this provided golden opportunity for us to grow our business. A Strategy of always Positioning No. 2 Brands in any Product and we believe our decision to engage with ProCurve in the early days has been quite fruitful."
