HFE adopts SAP S/4HANA to power Digital Transformation
SAP has announced that Hero Future Energies (HFE) has adopted SAP S/4HANA to bring about digital transformation through end-to-end business process integration and provide operational, financial efficiencies across 25 project sites in India.
As part of the Hero Group and with presence in nearly ten states across India, HFE is focussed on futuristic and clean energy through successful implementation of wind, solar and rooftop solar projects in India. The company felt the need to simplify and align its current operations and transform the business into a digital organization. To fulfil this objective, HFE implemented SAP S/4HANA to attain business transparency across its operations, allowing it to scale flexibility on a single platform as it expands across the country. The company worked with SAP partner YASH Technologies for the implementation.
“As we aim to drive India’s development by spearheading a change in the power sector, it was crucial for us to have a sustainable digital roadmap which streamlined our operations and provided instant visibility across the business,” said Debnath Mukhopadhyay, Additional General Manager – Accounts & Finance, Hero Future Energies. “SAP S/4HANA supports in enhancing this vision and gives us a unified platform to take effective and strategic decisions based on real-time data. This will help us bring alive our concept of ‘planet positive power’.”
“In today’s digital economy, companies are embracing innovation and technology to gain real-time insights and boost efficiencies,” said Neeraj Athalye, Head of S/4HANA, SAP Indian Subcontinent. “By adopting SAP S/4HANA, Hero Future Energies will have a proven foundation to take the lead in this age and transform into a ‘Live Business’.”
