Hero Vired joins MIT's Abdul Latif Jameel World Education Lab

Hero Vired joins the Abdul Latif Jameel World Education Lab (J-WEL) as the newest member of the Higher Education Collaborative. Through J-WEL membership, Hero Vired joins a community of 25 other schools, universities, non-profits, government agencies and companies addressing the world’s most pressing education challenges and exploring opportunities presented by new educational technologies, effective practices, and emerging scientific understandings of learning.

Hero Vired is India’s premium EdTech company for professionals and higher education aspirants. The company is a startup venture of the Hero Group that offers career-relevant programs, in partnership with world-class universities to make learners more competent and industry-ready for emerging jobs and professions under Industry 4.1. With best-in-class short and long-term learning programs, Hero Vired offers overall professional development via skill-based programs and courses that are imperative to a learner’s growth in India’s rapidly evolving digital economy.

Hero Vired will join other members for several upcoming workshops and events over the course of the next year. Signature events of J-WEL, J-WEL Weeks bring together representatives of member organizations with MIT faculty and researchers from across MIT. Through seminars, presentations, and hands-on work, MIT participants support member efforts to transform educational systems and develop solutions applicable across global contexts. Hero Vired will exchange ideas and best practices in energy, social innovations, and community intervention with global affiliates of J-WEL, working toward collaborative solutions in education challenges.

An initiative of MIT and Community Jameel, The Abdul Latif Jameel World Education Lab (J-WEL) promotes excellence and transformation in education at MIT and globally by engaging educators, technologists, policymakers, societal leaders, employers, and employees. Through in-person and online collaborations, workshops, research, and information-sharing events, J-WEL member organizations-including schools, universities, NGO’s, government agencies, and companies-work with MIT faculty and staff to address global opportunities for scalable change in education.
