HCL Infosystems forays into After-Sales Support Service

HCL Infosystems has announced entering into partnership with Philips to provide contact centre service support for its consumer lifestyle products. HCL Infosystems support and service division “HCL Care” has been appointed to provide the contact centre support services throughout pan India.
Sayantan Nandi, Sr. VP – HCL Care, HCL Infosystems, said, “We are delighted to provide our service expertise to Philips and we are confident that we will be able to create an excellent service environment for Philips customers in India. Over the years, we have acquired a rich knowledge of field and contact centre service for our own line of businesses involving products, including laptops, display devices and telecom equipments. This partnership is a concrete step in unlocking this extensive experience for leading consumer brands like Philips. I am sure that this endeavour will be a huge success and will set newer benchmarks in the contact centre service support segment.”

With this alliance, HCL Care will also handle the distribution and sales service of spares of Philips consumer lifestyle products in India. The service personnel will be jointly trained and developed by HCL Care and Philips.
