GoDaddy starts "Cup of Coffee" Campaign for Indian SMBs
GoDaddy has launched a "Cup of Coffee" campaign for the small and medium businesses and entrepreneurs to easily establish Web presence by building a website. The campaign’s theme of the campaign is "Get a Web presence in the time you finish a cup of coffee", which aims to exhibit how convenient and fast a website can be build, at an affordable cost. The campaign is currently started in New Delhi, Mumbai and Hyderabad for a period of one month.
At various SMB clusters, a GoDaddy mobile-experience-zone will be positioned during the campaign period, offering a first-hand experience of how SMBs can register a domain name, build a website, get an email address and leverage Google AdWords to promote their website.
Rajiv Sodhi, Vice-President & Managing Director, GoDaddy India, said, "If we look at the statistics, there are nearly 150 million Internet users and fewer than four million domain names in India. Additionally, with more than 30 million small and medium businesses in India, there are only half-a-million websites in the country. Given this, while India represents a huge opportunity for GoDaddy, there is a clear industry need to undertake initiatives that expand the overall market in India and that are the reason behind this campaign."
The key features of the campaign will provide the customers with a pack of Rs.580 including a website for their business, .COM address for making their web presence, 1GB email ID and Google AdWords credit worth Rs.2,500. Along with this pack, training experts will reach door-to-door in selected clusters to showcase how website can be built quickly and promoted on Google easily. This campaign will also include a local customer support team.
