Share some info about the latest Channel scheme that Logitech has announced.
Logitech has recently announced a one-of-its-kind Happy/Go/Lucky offer for dealers and consumers. The offer is valid on all Logitech products (Mice, Presenters, Keyboards, Desktops – a set of keyboard and mouse –, Gamepads, Joysticks, Steering Wheels, Notebook Accessories, Speakers, iPod Speakers, Headsets and Webcams) bought during the period starting from August 1, 2009 to September 15, 2009.
What is the eligibility criteria? What is the duration of the scheme?
Any and every partner selling Logitech IT products is eligible to participate in the Happy/Go/Lucky offer. The duration of the scheme is from August 1, 2009 to September 15, 2009.
How the Channel partners can benefit from this scheme?
Channel partners can win exciting prizes. The scratch card is submitted by the customer to Logitech. If the customer has won a prize, the dealer who sold the product to that particular customer also wins a prize. There are freebies for both customers and dealers.
There are three lucky draws for dealers one after every 15 days (August 15, August 30, and September 15). All the dealers whose details have been entered by the consumers in their submitted scratch cards are eligible for these draws. There will be a draw in each of the 50- plus cities thrice during the promotion period. So, dealers from these 50-plus cities can win exciting freebies.
Freebies for dealers in the lucky draw are: bikes, Nokia E 71 business phones, stylish leather travel bags, double-sided full-sleeve jackets, etc.
What are the prizes/gifts to be won?
The dealers stand a chance to win Logitech umbrellas, travel bags, sleeveless double-sided jackets and leather wallet sets. All dealers whose customers have filled in the scratch cards and returned back to Logitech either online or offline are eligible for the Happy/Go/Lucky draw for dealers. There will be a total of three fortnightly lucky draws for dealers. These are scheduled for August 15, 2009, August 30, 2009 and September 15, 2009.
What is the purpose behind announcing this scheme?
We aim to reward all our dealers for the constant support that they have given us. This is token of our appreciation to them. This nationwide promotional offer will give each and every dealer of Logitech, a chance to win some exciting gifts. We believe that such offers will encourage our dealers to reach out to more and more consumers.
This promotion is also unique in such a way that it not only gratifies our partners, but their customers also stand to win by way of scratch card prizes and lucky draw prizes. It is a win-win situation for all.

What are your other major plans for the year 2009?
Logitech's strength is the wide range of products that complement the requirements of consumers at various price points. On the one hand, Logitech has been able to sustain sales momentum with the help of low-end product demand. And on the other hand, Logitech has also benefited from the high-end consumers, which only looks for new launches (product/ design/ technology).
Logitech will continue to launch new products, looking at evolving consumer preferences. We will support our sales initiatives with appropriate consumer and channel promotions.
