GlobalLogic expands its engineering footprint in Nagpur

GlobalLogic has announced further expansion of its current engineering footprint in Nagpur. With this expansion, GlobalLogic aims to further leverage Nagpur’s strong engineering talent and put it up on the Digital Engineering Map to create job opportunities for the region.

While Nagpur has been looked at as a Tier 2 cost destination in the technology world, GlobalLogic has been providing complex Digital Engineering services from Nagpur for over a decade. GlobalLogic employs over 500 professionals in Nagpur already and is set to ramp up the growth further from here.

The centre expansion will offer best in class end-to-end customer experience skillset in - Immersive Computing, Mobile Applications and much more. The Nagpur facility will help bring new age digital skillset to the region and will help accelerate time to market by enabling technology solutions for global leaders across verticals including Medical Technology, Digital CSP (Communication Service Providers) and Digital Media.

GlobalLogic’s new facility will house a range of talent as the firm is looking at creating a new stack of Software Engineers with higher level of trainability. To fulfill this goal, the company has also launched a GlobalLogic Education program offering cross-skills framework, architecture and training academy to provide its employees with opportunities to learn and upgrade their skill sets.

With a total of 17,000 sq. feet workspace, the centre is equipped with top facilities along with relaxing themed board and meeting rooms, collaboration areas, fitness area, breakouts and private pantry for employees. The new expansion also promises a next level Customer Experience Center (CEC) to showcase the innovative value adds that teams are delivering to various clients. The facility will be capable of supporting over eight hundred employees by 2020.
