PNY Technologies (PNY) has announced addition of new Power Bank 52A (representing the 5200mAh battery capacity) battery to its products portfolio. Power Bank 52A features an external battery pack to provide extra power to one’s mobile devices and makes them run longer.

Power 52A includes a high-quality FCC/CE certified 5200mAh Li-Polymer battery, SGS's full battery capacity confirmation and UN38.3 safety requirement compliant for transportation.This high-quality battery does not lose much of its charging capacity even after getting recharged for 300 times. It has an output voltage of 5 V and current of up to 1 A, thus enhancing the battery life of smartphones.

Encased in a rugged polymer enclosure with its golden champagne colour, the battery comes with one standard USB port to charge various devices. It can be carried easily with its compact size. It also comprises a power button to switch it ON or OFF for saving battery power when not in use. It has a 4-LED gauge that indicates four power levels (>25%, >50%, >75%, and 100%) and there is another LED that indicates the power and charging status on the battery.

The Power-52A's electrical system incorporates various protective measures such as protection against over charge, over voltage, over current, and short circuit. Its smart power management controller ensures a high power conversion efficiency of up to 88%, thus minimizing waste of power.
