Ganesh Srinivasan took over as the Tata Power, CEO
Tata Power – DDL announced the appointment of Ganesh Srinivasan as the company’s new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), with effect from December 2, 2019. rinivasan will take over from Sanjay Banga who has been elevated to the position of President - Transmission & Distribution (T&D) at Tata Power, Mumbai. In his new role, Banga will take care of all India operations of Tata Power related to Transmission and Distribution sector.
Prior to moving to Tata Power-DDL, Srinivasan was the Chief – Transmission & Distribution, Tata Power, Mumbai. He brings with him two decades of experience in areas like power utility, infrastructure (cement, steel), product development & manufacturing and automotive sector. He has also spearheaded strategy, operations transformation and organisational development. He started his career with Cummins India Limited and has also worked with McKinsey & Company.
