Galaxy AI is available on more devices with Samsung One UI 6.1
Samsung has expanded the range of smartphones to which One UI 6.1 and Galaxy AI functions are available, including the Galaxy S22, Z Fold 4, Z Flip 4, and Tab S8. These capabilities, such as Circle to Search and Live Translation, were first made available with the Galaxy S24 series and are now accessible worldwide. Users can take advantage of AI-generated wallpapers and improved functionality.
The One UI 6.1 brings Galaxy AI's unparalleled capabilities, including the following features:
● Instant speech-to-text translation with Interpreter
● Seamless voice and text translations during calls with Live Translate
● Effortless multilingual messaging with Chat Assist
Samsung recently revealed that the rollout of the One UI 6.1 update will commence across the Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy S23 FE, Galaxy Z Fold 5, and Galaxy Z Flip 5 in the US. Additionally, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 series was also said to begin receiving the update. According to the handset maker, a majority of users were said to receive the update in April.
In early March, the South Korean tech giant initially announced the expansion of Galaxy AI features to more devices.
Meanwhile, following the deployment of AI-focused software update, numerous users reported encountering touchscreen issues with their Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra models. Some users have even stated that their screens became entirely unresponsive to touch inputs after updating to One UI 6.1. Samsung officially acknowledged this problem on Wednesday (April 3) and offered a fix The South Korean company attributed the issue to compatibility conflicts with certain Google app features.
