Swipe Telecom will be coming out with more Fablets in the market, which will possess advanced features with the latest innovation and technology, operating system and processors that will increase efficiency of the devices. As the world is moving towards high form-factor devices, the demand for Fablets is growing drastically. High form-factor devices are the best in the world in terms of utility, portability and mobility.
Perhaps, Fablets are going to be the upcoming trend in the mobility domain, and vendors like Swipe Telecom are invariably making their presence felt.
Swipe F1 Fablet
Swipe F1 Fablet is a Dual-SIM Fablet. What makes it special is that it supports Dual SIM – both 3G and 2G. 1 GHz, MTK 6575 processor allows for efficient functioning of the tab. It works on Android 4.0 (ICS) and has a 5.0" WVGA Capacitive Multi-Touch display. Swipe Fablet offers storage space of up to 32GB via a Micro SD Card. It also features a Dual camera, with 5.0MP rear camera and 0.3MP front camera and comes with built-in GPS that supports voice navigation which helps you to locate your destination. It is also packed with other features like Bluetooth, WI-FI 802.11 b/g/n, USB 2.0 and FM radio. It comes with Business Navigator which is a cover with a flap that prevents your screen and the back panel from dust and scratches.
Financial year 2012
“Financials, till date, have been very strong and one of the most exciting years, growing exponentially month on month. We will continue to see this growth for the coming fiscal as well. Recently, Swipe Telecom was awarded the “Most Innovation driven Company” by the World Brand Congress, an international body which recognizes talent and organizations and their contribution in the mobility and digital marketing space. We were featured in CNBC Young Turks on CNBC TV18 as well,” says Shripal.
Plans for the year 2013
There are many products in the pipeline which will have enhanced features and functionalities with the latest technology. Shripal affirms that the upcoming Swipe Tablet PCs will definitely prove to be very beneficial for users in all respects and will help in bringing a positive change in their lifestyle. In 2013, Swipe will be more focussed on connected devices due to lack of widespread Wi-Fi connectivity in India band and will also be focussing on being the market leader in the Fablet category.
Market Positioning
Shripal opines, “Swipe has been enjoying the ‘First Movers’ advantage in offering the disruptive technologies. We have come up with the latest and ‘First to be Products’ in the country like Swipe Legend, Swipe Fablet, Swipe 3D Life Tab, Swipe All-in-One and Swipe Pocket Tab which have received a tremendous response from the people. Swipe is an innovation-driven company and believes in product leadership and has come out with 12 Tablet PCs in the market, out of which 6 are Wi-Fi Tablet PCs, while 6 are Calling Tablet PCs. The cream de la cream are our channel partners. Swipe is arguably No. 1 company in India in terms of product portfolio it has. Swipe has a global presence because of the operation in the USA.”
Shripal points out that the company’s clear focus is to offer either disruptive technology along with jaw-dropping price and service. He further says, “Though the competition in the market is high, but still Swipe Telecom has managed to stay amongst the leading brands in the country, primarily because of the innovation it brings to end-consumers. The philosophy at Swipe is to bring the world-class technology to masses in India.”
Channel and Retail Strategies
Having expertise in pushing mobile computing devices, Swipe is in talks with India’s largest retail stores for shelf space nationally. Shripal elaborates, “We are the leading tablet brand in many states with the widest range of 12 tablet PCs in India. We have partnered with the best channel partners. Swipe has focussed on ATL as well as BTL. Our retail strategy has been to maximize both WOD (Width of Distribution) and DOD (Depth of Distribution). We are targeting 20,000+ retail counters presence by the end of the first quarter 2013.”
Service Network
Swipe’s service network is spread across 600+ centres across India. It is partly company-owned and partly franchisee-owned firm. Shripal says, “We have crossed the mark of 55,600+ followers on FB. We have 5,800,000+ pages on Google talking about ‘Swipe Tablets’. Swipe Blog is receiving an overwhelming response from the people. Swipe has a dedicated customer care centre and Swipe Assist for providing extra service to our customers.”
