F5 bags Market Leader Award for Fifth Consecutive Year
F5 Networks has been named by Frost & Sullivan as the 2013 Asia-Pacific Application Delivery Controller Vendor of the Year from its growth and performance in 2012 in the Asia-Pacific region.
F5 is honoured to receive Frost & Sullivan’s recognition of our market leadership for the fifth consecutive year. This year’s award, in particular, validates the effort and innovation that has been invested in the refresh of F5’s flagship BIG-IP hardware and software to meet organizations’ demand for greater scalability and performance,” said Christian Hentschel, F5 Networks, SVP, Asia-Pacific and Japan.
As long as organizations experience increasing network traffic, demand for higher performance will prevail. The performance of core ADC functionality will continue to rise at all market levels, added Hentschel.
Cathy Huang, Industry Manager, Asia-Pacific ICT Practice for Frost & Sullivan, said, Along with its effort to refresh its product portfolios during the year, F5 also took full advantage of the exit of Cisco from the ADC market. The vendor strengthened its go-to-market strategy and tapped on the opportunity to gain traction among Asia-Pacific enterprises. Its dedication and innovation in the application networking market enabled the vendor to enjoy rapid growth and tremendous mindshare in the Asia-Pacific region.
F5 recently introduced a unified suite of physical and virtual solutions that enables organizations to scale their operations seamlessly and realize the full value of virtualization, cloud computing and on-demand IT.
