Endress+Hauser India opens its innovation center in Hyderabad
Endress+Hauser India, a Swiss major in process automation has opened its innovation center in Hyderabad, marking an exciting milestone as the company continues to enhance the customer journey through innovation. This centre located at Mubarak Manzil, Banjara Hills Road, Somajiguda is Andhra Pradesh’s & Telangana’s only interactive and co-innovation space for planning smart city projects for the region.
The highlight of the office is the launch of the “Experience Centre” which is Andhra and Telengana’s first ever small pilot plant which stimulates real like plant processes. It showcases the latest digital technologies in the world of Process Automation which includes use of IoT, Wireless & other technologies like Ethernet in Automation industry. The management team of Endress+Hauser along with Kailash Desai, MD, Endress+Hauser India was present for the inauguration.
The newly opened office will serve as the center of the company’s activities in and around the region, supporting Endress’s continued growth while also helping maximize the company’s ability to serve both new and existing clients in Telangana region.
The idea of having the “Experience Centre” is for customers to evaluate the pro & cons of different technologies, including application challenges, to be used in measuring process parameters including, Pressure, Temperature, Flow, Level, pH, Conductivity, Dissolved Oxygen, Turbidity etc. This investment in the centre is one of the ways where we want to give back to society & show our commitment to India & the region.
The office is roughly 4500 square-meter facility, has training rooms and a conference room that provide ample space for hands-on customer training & technology demo. The company is headquartered in Mumbai and has around 250 employees and a wide network of engineers on PAN India basis. The global manufacturing units are based in Aurangabad.
Endress has in the region worked for Mission Bhagiratha- a project for safe drinking water for every village and city household in Telangana State. Some of the other Government bodies that Endress has earlier worked for are Pune Municipal Corporation, Trichy Municipal Corporation, Tamil Nadu Municipal Corporation, Delhi Jal Board, Goa Municipal Corporation, Karnataka Municipal Corporation, Kerala Municipal Corporation and Uttar Pradesh Municipal Corporation to name a few.
