Started in the year 1987 by Dushyant Mehta with two products “Dotmatrix Printers” and “PC Motherboards, Mediaman Group has grown today to over 2,000 memory modules for a multitude of devices, including desktops, notebook PCs, servers, workstations, digital still cameras, mobile phones, etc. The company has enterprise solutions from Transcend, Acard, Gigabyte for Notebook and Mobile Computing Accessories Products of more than 500 types. What is the present profile of the Mediaman Group? How many dealers and branch offices do you have across India? You are focussing more on the Memory Market. Is there any reason behind it? Why dealers and channel partners want to work with you? What advantages do you offer? What kind of expansion you are looking for? How do you see yourself one year down the line?
Presently, Mediaman has Transcend, Hitachi, WD and Palit. Apart from these, we have the entire range of laptop accessories. Recently, we have tied up with Palit, which is a high-end gaming equipment like graphic cards, as its exclusive distributor.
Presently, we have more than 5,000 channel partners working with us. Apart from that, we have our own 40 branches all over India.
Yes, Memory is a huge market. A lot of market survey and perseverance is required to sustain in this market. Further, it is also a high-end market where every department requires storage of data. So, our experience in these industries for a long time has helped us to understand this memory market.
We have always been friendly to these industries, because we believe in brand building. We have the best international brands with us. We always create an open space in the market. Whatever brands we deal in are world-class. These brands are highly recognized internationally. We always indulge in fair market strategies. Besides that, we have a whole host of products in our hand where our channel partners are happy.
We are planning to add 20 more branches in India and a few more lifestyle products to our basket.
Presently, we are working to set up our office outside India. That is the main goal we have.
