Dr. Damodar Sahu joins Data Safeguard Inc., as Chief Growth Officer from Wipro, USA.

Data Safeguard Inc., a global award-winning leader in data privacy solutions welcomes Dr. Damodar Sahu as Chief Growth Officer.  Dr. Sahu will help define and drive the overall Growth Strategy of the company in Marketing, Alliances, Partner Ecosystems, Investor and Analyst relationships across the globe while aligning to today’s market and customer needs.

Dr. Sahu brings more than 25 years of Industry experience and was a tenured Wipro employee of over 11 years, worked in various locations across India and USA. He helped grow many divisions across Wipro including Hi-Tech, Technology, Blockchain, CTO, Manufacturing, iDEAS Growth partnerships and Sales.  Dr. Sahu is one of the founding members of Wipro’s in-house Startups, AutoInsights (CTO) and Aftermarket Service Transformation (Mfg. & Hi-Tech).

Dr. Sahu, an award winning and inspiring individual, has been collaborating with cross-functional compassionate leaders in Alliances and Partnerships, influences variety of stakeholders and to create value through such unique relationships. He also enables global partnerships on the cloud for data and engineering SaaS companies by combining marketing, business development and sales efforts.

Dr. Sahu graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, PGDBM in Operations Management from Amity University, MDP on Leadership in the age of Digital Transformation from IIM Calcutta, PhD in CS & IT from SunRise University, India, and has been conferred with Honoris Causa Doctorate (Ph.D.) in Social Services with reference to World Peace and Philanthropy, Conferred with Doctor of Letters (D.Litt., USA) for Social Services and IT from few International Universities.

Dr. Sahu resides in Troy, Michigan with wife Namita, and has two beautiful daughters Sai Damini (Pursuing master’s in psychology) and Shohani (9th Grader).  He is an avid marathon runner, loves road trips, photography, and yoga. His motto “We have one life, live life to the fullest and be always helpful to others”.
