Dimension Data implements combination of latest technologies in Avantika University

Dimension Data has announced the successful implementation of the digital infrastructure for Avantika University, Ujjain. This implementation marks an important milestone in Avantika University’s digital transformation journey as it is one of the largest projects undertaken within the Indian educational sector. Dimension Data has designed and deployed the university’s new infrastructure, and will also manage its IT assets and landscape, underpinned by advanced cybersecurity technologies.

Avantika is promoted by the MIT Group of Institutions, Pune with a vision to create a unique design ecosystem in central India. The university has chosen both physical and digital state-of-the-art infrastructures to support this.

Dimension Data has implemented a combination of latest technologies such as the Unified Threat Management solution and Hyperconverged infrastructure, to help the university reduce costs by 20% in the first phase. Avantika University can now enjoy a scalable IT infrastructure and offer better facilities to students, simultaneously ensuring that its intellectual property is always secure through the backup, recovery, and disaster recovery built into a hyperconverged environment.
