Dell forays into gaming world with Alienware and Inspiron series

Dell with its new launch of its gaming portfolio in India has introduced 3 products in its Alienware range and 2 in Inspiron gaming systems to cater the gaming enthusiasts and providing them an immersive gaming experience.
The Alienware series comprises Alienware15 worth Rs1,64,990 and Alienware17 for Rs2,14,990 notebook and Aurora desktop worth Rs1,79,990, while under its Inspiron range Dell Inspiron 15 5000 comes for Rs 74,490 and Dell Inspiron 15 7000 for Rs 82,490 gaming notebook are the new launches.
On the occasion P. Krishnakumar, Vice President, Consumer & Small Business, Dell, India said, “Gaming today is increasingly becoming mainstream and Alienware has always been at the top of a gamer’s consideration set. With the launch of this stronger and enviable gaming portfolio, a casual or an active gamer need not look further to experience phenomenal gaming. We are fulfilling the ultimate gaming experience through wider access and availability and extensive engagement with India’s gaming community. Dell has a definitive roadmap in this segment, making this the right time to expand our portfolio for a wider set of gamers.”
Alongside the launch, it also announces its partnership with HTC for a limited period to set up VR experience zones across 125 touch point in its exclusive stores and multi brand outlets in 40 cities. The 15-inch 7000 and 5000 Inspiron gaming seriescarries forward the legacy of Alienware with design elements such as 186 cooling fans, thinly-veiled by 3 thermal exhaust cages, and a long lasting battery.”
