Dell EMC PowerProtect Backup Service introduced in India

Dell Technologies introduces PowerProtect Backup service in India and expanded services for Google Cloud and AWS customers. The Dell EMC PowerProtect Backup Service offers cloud-based data protection designed to deliver SaaS applications including M365 and Salesforce without increasing IT complexity. PowerProtect Backup Service can also protect data on endpoint devices, such as desktops and laptops. In addition to ensuring data is recoverable, the service provides eDiscovery, data security, and compliance capabilities.

Additionally, Dell Technologies decided to OEM with Druva to meet the customer demands for protecting SaaS apps and other cloud workloads along with endpoints while leveraging a SaaS platform. For customers who already have workloads in AWS, Dell EMC PowerProtect Cloud Snapshot Manager with Dell EMC PowerProtect DD Virtual Edition now delivers the ability to copy snapshots to object storage to reduce overall long-term retention costs.
