Dell boosts PC business with new “zero-cash” financing options

Dell has announced a range of “zero-cash” financing options for consumers, making it easier to purchase a PC.
The financing options will be available for customers to avail through Dell’s association with Bajaj Finance Limited, and credit cards from the leading partner banks between 17th November and 31st December, 2016.
Ritu Gupta, Director – Marketing, Consumer & Small Business, Dell India, said, “It is our goal to ensure that in addition to offering innovative technology solutions for multiple user needs, we are able to empower our customers to purchase a PC with ease. Purchasing a personal computer for the home or for an individual is regarded as an important buying decision and we want to make the process as simple and hassle-free for our customers as possible. We are responding to the current needs of our customers and partners with zero-cash financing offers that add value to the relationships we have established with our partners, and to enable access to PC technology, in any retail format that customers choose.”
The financing options give consumers the chance to buy a PC at zero interest, waiving the initial processing fee, as well as “zero dealer buy down” to empower retailers with better margins. With this announcement, Dell has also introduced a groundbreaking 6 month interest-free EMI option with zero-down payment, on credit cards from the leading banks (SBI, Axis, HDFC, ICICI and Citibank).
Dell also offers a larger range of easy, interest-free EMI options available for customers to purchase a PC, including 9 months EMI with 3 months EMI as down payment and 12 months EMI with 4 months EMI as down payment, as well as schemes for longer durations such as 15 months EMI with 3 months EMI as down payment, and 18 months EMI with 6 months EMI as down payment. The duration and terms being offered by Dell ensures lower and more affordable EMIs as well as a lesser initial down payment cost.
The financing offers will be available at select Dell Exclusive Stores, large format retail stores (LFRs) like Reliance Digital, Croma, etc, as well as select multibrand outlets across the country. The offers can be availed across Dell’s range of Inspiron and Vostro notebooks and desktops, XPS range of Ultrabooks and Alienware devices.
