Moreover, these cameras will be manufactured with 100% localization of the manufacturing process. Every component from software, mechanical, PCB, source code to hardware, and even driver security will be produced in India for the world. 

Completely designed, developed, controlled, and managed in India, CP PLUS is also producing cameras with their own chipsets especially crafted for CP PLUS, considering the specific requirements of the Asian and Indian markets. 

CP PLUS is also aligning with American Chipset makers to develop and produce special chipsets for Asian needs, which will have the CP PLUS logo on them as they are specifically designed for CP PLUS. The brand is also ready to begin the packaging of these chipsets in India only soon after. 

Furthermore, CP PLUS has plans in motion to invest heavily in R&D in India in the upcoming 3-5 years where the brand will be investing more than Rs. 300 crores with the mission of making India truly Atmanirbhar as soon as possible by continuously developing technology, innovations and products in India. 

Harnessing the power of cloud computing and storage, CP PLUS is integrating more and more of its products and solutions with IoT to offer a multitude of features and benefits in a single solution. Now, with the production commencing in its new manufacturing facility in Kadapa in May, CP PLUS is becoming the Largest Manufacturer of Surveillance products and devices in the world anywhere outside of China. And as the Largest Indian player making surveillance more accessible for the global population, CP PLUS is also expanding a lot more on the R&D side to meet the vision of the Hon’ble Prime Minister. 

How is the PLI scheme complementing the Make in India initiative?     
“I believe that the PLI Scheme holds excellent potential to complement the Make-in-India initiative. The era of India has begun and our country currently stands at a junction where a boost in domestic manufacturing is just what we need. 

By offering financial support and tax breaks, the scheme is now incentivizing businesses to establish and/or expand their manufacturing capacities in India. And nation’s leading surveillance is also leading the way to create an Atmanirbhar Bharat by inaugurating yet another manufacturing plant in AP this May, which is India’s largest and world’s 3rd largest manufacturing facilities for surveillance products and solutions. We are now also set to open one more manufacturing plant for CCTV-aligned products in the near future”, says Mr. Khemka.

How is CP Plus taking care of the R&D aspect to make its products comply with global standards? 
Recognizing that investing in technology means investing in innovation, CP PLUS invests significant resources in R&D on a continuous basis, which enables the brand to lead the market with emerging trends and technological advancements to cater to the customers’ needs. 

The brand’s in-house R&D team continuously explores new technologies, designs, and materials to enhance the performance and functionality of our security and surveillance products. There are many technologies that have been internally developed by CP PLUS and designed for the Indian industry and users. The brand is now flooding the market with more indigenized that have been integrated with the latest technologies such AI, ML, and IoT.
