CP PLUS debuts new CCTV power supplies
CP PLUS has introduced a wide range of power accessories to ensure smooth and hassle-free operations of any surveillance system. The system is dependent on its operating power supply for reliability and ruggedness.
CCTV cameras operate on very low voltage that have little tolerance to increases in voltage above the rated input level, most CCTV cameras have a DC voltage input rating of 12V with a tolerance of +/- 10% meaning the maximum applied DC voltage that the camera can handle is faulty power supply can create havoc leading to irreparable damage to the system, thereby reducing its reliability. Besides, incorrectly rated power supplies will either damage or severely reduce the life of CCTV cameras and other equipment.
In India, most common issues with the power supply are erratic power and power cuts. The power supply is erratic in most places in India, with huge surge and voltage fluctuations at many places frequently. These voltage fluctuations can damage equipment, thereby causing them to end much before their normal useful life. For power cuts, the generator is most commonly used as a power backup. There are again voltage and ripple wave fluctuations in the backup power supply from these generators. In both the cases, running surveillance equipment safely can be a challenging task.
CP PLUS R&D team at TeknoLogix Labs constantly strives to develop rugged and safer devices. Taking all the data, facts and feedback from the industry, the R&D team introduces a range of power accessories.
In India, CP PLUS is the Market Leader with No. 1 market share in Security Segment. Also, it has been ranked amongst the Asia's Top 10 Security & India’s No. 1 Surveillance Brand.
