Cover Plus from Ingram Micro provides value addition to Smartphones

Ingram Micro has launched a new value-added pack – “Cover Plus” essential plans for smartphones and tablets.

Starting at INR499, depending upon device’s official retail price, the Cover Plus pack offer benefits up to 110% of the pack cost. The benefits include multimedia downloads from India’s leading content provider – Hungama, and a premium antivirus protection suite from Trend Micro, besides insurance at no extra cost. The unique comprehensive insurance package is backed by the Oriental Insurance and covers contingencies caused by accident, liquid, theft, burglary, fire and tempest.

The Cover Plus pack allows users to avail an extended warranty on their premium devices over and above the one offered by the manufacturer. Ingram Micro also provides post-sales support in case of damages even after the lapse of brand warranty through ISO 9001 and 14001 certified in-house Printed Circuit Board (PCB) repair facility.

In the first phase, Ingram Micro Cover Plus packs are available over the counter with all the leading retailers for selected brands of handsets.
