ClearTax hosts GST forum in Delhi to educate enterprise CXOs, plans to hold more in other cities
ClearTax has successfully hosted a one-day GST Forum in Delhi to equip CXOs of enterprises on the latest advancements in GST.
Jigar Vachharajani, Head of Client Servicing - Enterprise Business at ClearTax, was the keynote speaker. Prabin Dokania, CFO, GSTN, Ankit Kaushik, Solutions Architect, Amazon Web Services, Sanjay Gulati, Group Vice President Corporate Tax, GMR Group and Shivam Mehta, Partner, Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan were among some esteemed speakers at the GST forum.
The GST forum was attended by over 60 companies from across India. The participants were the CXO's, Vice presidents & Directors and Head of Indirect Tax, Finance Controller, Chief Financial Officers, and GST Professionals. Some of the big names who participated were Nestle, Walmart, ONGC, Maruti Suzuki, Honda Motor Company, HCL Infosystems, Apollo Tyres, among others.

GST Forum 2019 created a platform that brought solutions to all business challenges pertaining to GST.
The speakers informed the attendees about key considerations for new GST, GST Compliance and automation, cloud security to handle GST data, leveraging tech to automate GST and broader finance functions and lastly, the challenges that companies face due to lack of clarity and where the GST law can improve. The forum garnered good response from the participants who had doubts about various aspects of New GST.
ClearTax plans to hold 10 more GST Forums in Bangalore, Kolkata, Pune, Chennai and Hyderabad in the coming days to drive education and knowledge-sharing about GST changes among CXO network in India.
