CitiusTech acquires FluidEdge Consulting appointing Eric Schultz as its President
CitiusTech has completed the acquisition of FluidEdge Consulting (FluidEdge), a national healthcare management consulting company headquartered in Philadelphia, PA. FluidEdge is now a wholly owned subsidiary of CitiusTech.
Dr. Bill Winkenwerder, Chairman of CitiusTech, comments, “FluidEdge has excellent healthcare consulting capabilities with deep expertise across payer, provider and life science markets. The acquisition of FluidEdge will enable CitiusTech to develop deeper and more meaningful engagements with healthcare customers, and play a stronger role in driving business performance.”
CitiusTech also announced the appointment of Eric Schultz as the Executive Vice President of CitiusTech and President of FluidEdge Consulting. Prior to joining CitiusTech, Schultz was President and CEO of Harvard Pilgrim Health Care Inc. for eight years. Under his leadership, Harvard Pilgrim was consistently ranked among America’s highest-rated health plans by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA). Previously, Schultz was President and CEO of Fallon Community Health Plan for ten years. He also held executive positions with CIGNA Healthcare and Prudential Healthcare.

In addition to his new role, Schultz serves on the board of the Kenneth Schwartz Center, and previously served as Chair of America’s Health Insurance Plans (AHIP), the Alliance of Community Health Plans (ACHP) and the Massachusetts Association of Health Plans (MAHP).
